Gaia 3.4 offer numerous enhancements over the previous version, from new data sources to full support of ESRI's ArcGIS 9.3 based WFS.
This document summarizes all changes corrections and additions over the previously released version (3.3).

Key Version Enhancements:
Improved support to long 'urn' notation for OGC coordinate reference system.
Works well with ArcGIS Server based Web Feature Service (WFS) implementation.
Added OpenStreetMap (OSM) Tiles@Home support in base-maps.
Support for the new Web Map Tiling Service pending spec.
Embedded OGC Capabilities Analyzer tool.

Enhancement - Improved the preview and origin bounding-box when opening geospatial files.
Enhancement - When adding a new layer the layers-list will scroll to the top to show the new layer item.
New - Support to OGC RESTful WMTS specification.
New - Support for OpenStreetMaps (OSM) Tiles@Home base maps sources.
New - New OGC Capabilities Analyzer tool (located in Add Layer dialog) with 'Show XML' tool.
Enhancement - Improved Gaia start time when internet connection is unavailable.
Enhancement - Improved accuracy of 'info tool' hit test on geometries.
New - Messages log is displayed in a window instead of opening in a text editor.

Enhancement - Underlying CarbonTools PRO handles long 'urn' projection notation, including variations of WGS84 (EPSG 4326).
Enhancement - Gaia detect WFS version 1.1 to set GML version to 3 and CRS of 'urn:ogc:def:crs:EPSG::4326' to automatically check the 'Reverse X/Y' checkbox.
Enhancement - Various layers with different abbreviation of the EPSG code will preserve their CRS form if the code id matched the map stack.
Enhancement - A layers stack from various OGC sources exclusively supporting one of the various EPSG forms should play nice together in the MultiMap now ("EPSG:xxxx" vs "urn:ogc:def:crs:EPSG::xxxx" vs. "http://www.opengis.net/gml/srs/espg.xml#xxxx).
Change - The automatic spatial filter property detection does not use namespace prefix and will try to search better for the encapsulating feature property. The manual version in the Properties form will add the prefix (if exists) when using 'detect'.
New - Added ability to reverse coordinates on read GML files.
Enhancement - Added an Extender import tool to Extender Manager. Imported extenders now reside on the user's public folder.
Enhancement - Added 'Delete' button to remove unused extender files.
Change - Extenders that are not loaded don't show the Name and Description - these extenders are no longer loaded to memory.
API
Enhancement - Several internal tweak that allow new data type extenders.
Change - Extender API change: SetLayersPanel now returns a SplitContainer class.
New API functionality added: SetMainForm, SetExtendersImplementers, GetLayerPropertyPanelNames, GetLayerPropertyCustomPages, AcceptLayerProperty, AcceptLayerPropertyFinal, SessionLoaded, OnMarkSessionAsUnsaved, OnRemoveGeoObject, OnRefershLayer, OnRefershAllLayers, OnMarkSessionAsUnsaved, OnStartNewSession, OnLoadSession, OnLoadInsertSession.
